Aubrey Peeples

Aubrey Peeples has been an American actress and performer for more than 20 years. She has received best-recognition for her performances in Nashville in the 2012 drama, as Layla Grant. She also was awarded the prize in Sharknado 2013 where she played Claudia Shepard. The actress also had the role of the title character in the feature film Jem and the Holograms, (2015). Aubrey Peeples, the child of Wendy Peeples and Ashley Peeples grew up in Lake Mary Florida. Her older sister is Ally. Aubrey was a member of Orlando Repertory Theatre during her childhood. Her graduation from Lake Mary Preparatory School was the class's valedictory speech in 2012. Harvard University had accepted her. They had agreed to her admission two times in order to allow her to take on the role of Nashville. Peeples was a guest on Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2011) Grey's Anatomy (2005) and also had an recurring role on Necessary Roughness (1991). The actress was also in two television-based movies: Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective (2009 and The Good Mother). In the second season, she played Layla Grant in the Nashville drama. Peeples revealed her bipolar disorder during an interview she conducted an interview to NKD Magazine. Indiewire named Peeples in September 2014 as one of America's best young actors.
